Distribution block for gauges help from electrical gurus please

To start i just want to say I am electrically deficient. So bare with me.

So recently after my last aem digital oil temp gauge install. I noticed that my radio would randomly shut off now, and my wipers are rediculiously slow.

I orginally thought my brand new optima red top battery must be drained or alternator was dieing or dead. So I had them , checked at local autozone.

And they said they were fine.

So did some Google searching today and came across a similar thread whete someone mentioned had the OP installed any new gauges using the fuse box. Where they replied yep. Then they just put the fuse box back to stock and all was well again with the OP wipers.

I haven't had a chance to put my fuse box back to normal (I was using these but from local auto parts store not ebay.

Anyrate I'd like to build a distrobution block for all my gauges. Like this guy

http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo...ng-else-6.html

But that is for an evo. What is the best place to connect the power/control. They say the ignition switch. But currently in was thinking of something like the fuel pump rewire set up.
-directly from battery with online fuse
-to a relay
-power out to the distrobution block (can I run just 1 power line to power the whole bar?)
-run 1 wire from the relay to the ignition or fuse block
(Will this be to much to for just 1 control location)
-can I ground just the distrobution block or is it best to ground each gauge individually.
-And I wold prefer to mount this block by the fuse block on the driverside.

Anyraye hope that makes sense again im not electrically proficient. So any better ideas or help etc. Would be great.
