Question Looking for a good tire shop-no scratching

Newbie here on this forum...

Time for some new tires on the wife's summer car, so I need to find a damn good tire shop that will not ding her chrome wheels. Is there a tire machine that uses composite tooling or something that will guarantee zero scratches and no chance of gouging? MY RL will be needing tires next season and I'll be damned if anyone dare ding those wheels.

Thanks much,
Mike

Check this guy out: http://www.normstire.com/

Located in Little Canada, I know he caters to local car enthusiasts, lots of Mustang customers.

Polishmafia works at the Maple Grove Goodyear (I used to work there) They have some good non-marring tire machines.

Its attached to the Menards parking lot in north-west maple grove, (go west on 94, take the MapleGrove parkway exit, go over the bridge)

Re: Looking for a good tire shop-no scratching

Cool, that is what I wanted to hear. I will tell the wife and figure out some tires to order. I guess Tire Rack for the tires should be fine. She's not into racing anything, just no Mr Donut tires or it'll be my ass is grass

Thanks for the help guys!!!

Mike

Re: Looking for a good tire shop-no scratching

I work at a service station. We have a very high end Corghi Artiglio Master as our nice machine, it's competely touchless mounting and dismounting of tire, and can do up to 24's. We also have high end balancers, Hunter GSP9700s with auto tire pressure and roadforce. I did tires on a $100k Mercedes with them We aren't cheap though, PM me if interested.

Re: Looking for a good tire shop-no scratching

Since we currently don't have a tire sponsor/vendor on the board I'm going to allow these posts for now, but I highly suggest one of you posting up your tire services consider becoming a vendor on this board to lock in the business of our members before someone else does again. If any of our current vendors do in fact offering tire services please let me know.
