What color is the smoke? Where is the smoke coming from? Exhaust? Engine bay?

Umm you never had the return line hooked up? Was it left off? How long has it been driving not hooked up?

Okay, so if you didn't hook up the oil return line from the turbo then what did you do with it? Oil is fed into the turbo and then drained into the oil pan. If you just plugged that then your turbo is probably fried. You need to tell us more of what exactly you did...

ok relax everyone, he started it up, brought it to the barracks which is maybe a 2 minute drive and then shut it off, it wasn't even runnin for 5 minutes. The return line was attached to the oil pan and was up touchin the turbo, just not attached to it with the 2 lil screws. Didn't plug up the oil outlet or anything. I'm sure his engine is ok, he rehooked the line up just a few minutes ago, i guess we'll see if his problem is fixed whenever he decides to start it up.
