1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5speed.
I have owned this car for 4 years, and have conservatively spent $18,000 on it over those 4 years ($5,000 on two Shep trannys alone
). This car was 100% stock when I got it, aside from some upgraded audio. This is a very well cared for, maintaned, and rarely abused car. Clean, rust free 1G's are getting very hard to find these days. It is a desirable 6bolt, 4 bolt early 92 model, with tan leather. When this car needs a new part, it almost always is replaced with a new OEM part purchased from Brookdale Mitsubishi. I have most of the receipts and records for this car since owning it. It has never seen a snow while I have owned it. There is no rust on this car. Being that it is older, and my spring-summer-fall daily driver, it does have some small dings and scratches.
This car has been tuned by the legendary Shane at DBPerformance. Last tuning session, the car peaked at 460awhp maxing the single fuel pump. It left making about 450awhp. If someone desired more power, a second fuel pump, upgrade valve springs and retainers, ARP L19s and a Fel-Pro permatorque would be all you need ($1000).
At MAP's 2010 Proving Grounds, the car ran a 11.40@131mph with a 1.8 60ft, spinning in 1st.
