power Transistor Issues
1995 eclipse gst, 99 ecu, 99 motor, 1g cas. It's funky but works

Okay, so the car was running perfect for a week or so after I sold my eprom ecu and Installed the black top ecu, Then was driving this past weekend and car gets a very bad misfire and stalls on way home. Checked spark, fuel, and compression and its all good. The car starts and idles for 5-10 secs then pops and dies and I can smell gas. The power transistor gets burning hot and if i keep trying to turn it over, it wont start after the transistor heats up. If i wait 20 mins and let the transistor cool down it will start and die.
Checked all grounds and connections they seem fine. Only thing I'm thinking is either bad ecu or a short in my wiring somewhere? My boost gauge does go to the 0 mark so maybe a short in my ecu?
I'm lost and thinking of just going through all my wires nothing else i can think of. Any help ? Thanks
