It was certainly a blast at Powercruise last weekend, I think I'm hooked on the road course lol

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
Been a long time coming but finally got our new EF2 turbocharger installed and on the dyno
+50whp +22ft/lbs at the same boost level and it hits 300ft/lbs within 150rpm of the stock turbo, I can work with that Of course I am a bit biased!
MAP 3.5" Intake
MAP EF2 Turbocharger
MAP O2 Eliminator Downpipe
MAP Test Pipe
MAP Varex Muffler Catback
MAP Fuel Pump Install Kit
FIC 1100cc Injectors
E85 Fuel
Grimmspeed MBC
AEM X-Wifi Wideband
Stock Intercooler
Stock Intercooler Piping
Stock BOV
Stock Intake / Exhaust Manifolds
Stock Clutch
Comparison to stock turbo

Very nice! I'm looking forward to seeing more results out of that turbo.

Nice gains. What can the ef2s handle for boost? More then 27 psi?

I'm sure but we rate them to 450whp so this graph was a great representation of what we recommend

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
Stock cams still I assume?
I bet with new manifolds, new cams, new IC/piping and 32psi or so this could crack 500whp, especially if you rev it out a bit more
But I wouldn't recommend doing that on the stock motor haha.

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
^Word.
My EF1 has taken 30psi like a champ. That turbo could easily do 500whp if you wanted it too. I love it. Evo X + EF turbo = Winning.

Pretty badass turbo really, I love how well the X breathes up top! I say toss on a tubular exhaust manifold (long or your short runner--or both, more data is good data!) and a BCS to help hold boost a bit more up top..490-500 should be easily possible...but then you get into that 'red' zone on the stock longblock, LOL.
Can't wait to see how this does on pump gas.

Going to max out an EF4 most likely, but no nothing new in that regard.
