My Winter Upgrades
Just thought I'd start this up to keep track of my progress I make over winter, and see if I make my goal. Here are the plans
- Borg Warner S362
- T3 manifold
- Tial 44 Wastegate
- Swapping out Forge MBC for new Hallman MBC
- New complete SS turbo back utilizing only V-Band's
- New Fidanza Clutch
- New TRE built tranny
- JMF Intake Manifold
- 1G N/T Throttle Body
(cheap new 3930 seals)
http://www.ebatmus.com/cart.epl?Buy=...580&Query=3930
- Still sticking with E85
- CF Hood
- Radiator ducting
- New headlights
That about sums it up. The swap has begun. The old 50trim setup is out. Stuff is starting to make it's way into the engine bay now

Re: My Winter Upgrades
As for the turbo, yes the plan is to utilize a Bullseye T3 housing on it. Tomorrow the turbo will be shipped to them so they can size an exhaust housing for it and tell me what my options are. They have an optional .70 A/R housing I believe, that has a V-Band outlet. That is what I really want. As for HP numbers, the car made 366 with a shitty tune on LSE"s dyno. I want to hit 500 with the new setup, and a 10.99 pass. My goal with these mods, is to hit 10's. We'll see.
As for the clutch, no thanks for twin disc.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
ClutchMasters 2500 with the sprung 4 puck ceramic disc is something you should really look into.
Why that turbo?

Re: My Winter Upgrades
I chose this turbo for a couple reasons. I'm really interested to see how these BW turbos perform. I've been researching up on them for a good 8 months now, and they really peaked my interest with their ETT design. I haven't heard anything negative at all about them, so I don't see why not. The S362 is what I've wanted the entire time. They are expensive so the only thing stopping me was the cost. Well then I found a used one locally for a hell of a deal. It came with a divided T4 housing, but I want to run it in a T3 housing. BE is the only company I know that makes something like this, so I'm sending it to them so they can make sure they have something that'll work on it.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
Just threw some new headlights I got off ebay for cheap. No more sealed lenses. These just use common H4 bulbs. Ricer Polish Pete at Maple Grove Goodyear hooked me up with some H4 pigtails for dirt cheap, that I soldered in just now. Worked like a charm, thanks Pete! I have to do a little grinding before I can mount them in place though as the backs are a little larger then the normal ones.
