Im putting together my 90 lazer RST. I wanna keep everything "stock peices" from some DSM or rather. What are the best things off of what year ?

Im using
90 block ( external oil cooled)
2g o2 housing
2g turbo manifold
1g BOV
looking for a 92.5 - 94 head ( was told its the best head on DSMS)

am i missing anything?

any info is appreciated.. THANKS!

Considering he is a 90, I assume he is not doing the AWD swap.

1g intake mani
1g TB
2g TB elbow
2g MAS
93+ AWD front brake calipers

Pretty much the opposite of what he said. I do not know about a 92.5-94 head being better than any other 1g head. I thought they were all the same.

The 92.5-94 1g 7bolt heads are supposed to offer a little more flow, but so would porting.

The 92.5-94 head also has larger oiling and cooling passages. A 2G TB elbow on a 1G TB is a bad idea, the inlet is larger than a 1G, but the outlet is not (it necks down for the smaller 2G TB).

I personally prefer the 92-94 Talon spoiler.

The heavy leather 2G knob felt great on my car too.

Anyone have one of those 2g shift knobs laying around?

Also, you can use the inlets and outlets for the 2g intercooler on the thicker 1g intercooler. Takes some work, but Raptor told me it would prolly be worth the effort.

Does the late 1G head work with this?
