Anybody got a spare 3575 or bigger laying around?
Crap, this just gets worse every time I turn around. Turns out my compressor cover bolts backed out and cocked the cover chewing up the compressor blades. Being that the 3575 is already the closest watched turbo by FP because of the small shaft to big wheel ratio, being out of balance is not good. At this point I'm still heading to the shootout and hope I can get a few passes in at least before she grenades.
If anybody wants to lend me a similar turbo for the shootout, that would be great. I really need a compressor lockdown plate at the very least unless I limp it with a few washers. Who wants to help a brutha?

Yeah, that really sucks. The washers should work fine if you can't find a plate though.

Damn Steve, your car shows you no love when it's time for the shootout. Hope you can get it back together in time to enjoy yourself out there.

Yeah, it doesn't smoke or anything, it just seemed poochy when I was racing the NSX the other night, now I know why. I sent some high res pics to Robert at FP, he'll give me the email prognosis on it tomorrow.

I'd lend ya my 67, but I really don't want to go through the work of getting it off the car, and I still need the car to be running so I can figure out the rev limiter issue.

I got a 70GTS but it's full T4 so... unless the 3575 uses the GTS exhaust wheel it wouldn't do you much good.

OUCH, that sucks Steve. Loctite is your friend. Hang in there, the Shoot-out might get rescheduled.

Well, I won't need this anymore. As soon as I get back, the part out begins. I'm finally done with DSM's, at least the 9-second aspiration side of it.

Don't give up. Where else could you spend this much $$$ and have no fun at all?
Seriously, why get out now, you are sooooo close to your goal?
