MHI TDO6 20g ready to bolt on!

Im looking to sell my mhi 20g turbo in hopes of going bigger. This turbo makes great power and the spool is comparable to an evo III. It has been a very, very fun street turbo. The wastegate has been welded shut for an external setup. It has a tiny bit of side/side shaft play, but is not in need of a rebuild and does not smoke at all.

I'm looking for $400 obo

300 I'll pick it up. besides injectors, is there anything else you need to tune for v3 for a base setup?

No way a TD06 20g is comparable to a 16G.

It will be a lot laggier, might make a bit more power than a e316G, but I haven't played with one to see, actually I think tachyon might be but his car is built around that setup so its rare.

Re: MHI TDO6 20g ready to bolt on!

The TD06 will provide more lag - dependent on the exhaust housing size. I did PM the OP for the housing size. Being you're FWD, you probably would enjoy the larger turbine wheel and housing.

I currently rock the TD05 turbine in a 6cm housing on a 2.4 and that will produce around 20 psi by 3800 RPM. My best guess is the TD06 in a 060 or 070 would be about 800 RPM later on 2.0 than my TD05 2.4.

With FWD, E85, and required supporting mods this turbo will go past 500 WHP on a DJ.

Hell of a bargain.

Re: MHI TDO6 20g ready to bolt on!

I never said the turbo was comparable to a 16g, only that the spool was comparable. I wouldn't classify 300 RPM later spool as "a lot" but to each their own. Either way the turbo was sold yesterday, thanks for the offer anyways though!
