Crankshaft ring? how to remove?

So recently got a motor for a car and i whent to go put the flywheel on.. The problem is there is a ring set into the crankshaft the keeps the flywheel from going flush to the crankshaft.

My question is how do i remove this and where can i get another one?

In the picture below the ring between the flexplate bolts.

Are you talking about the spacer plate that guys also use on aluminum flywheels? Or the pilot bushing?
