Re: Ball joint, Tie rods, Ect...?!

Wow. Your right. I was driving today and this creaking is getting worst. I need to get this replaced ASAP. I seen some videos on Youtube and the same creaking from a bad lower ball joint! Spaz, i see they have them at your POE, which do you suggest? (and can i get a discount ...)

Thanks guys

Unfortunately the company shut down the 'Style discount so I can't do anything of that sort. I had $50 Master Pro control arms on my Talon with zero issues.

Rock Auto usually has decent prices, might be worth checking.

Re: Ball joint, Tie rods, Ect...?! PIX

So i was in a sh*tty situation last night. I had the car towed to my buddy's house planning on replacing it today. Replaced the lower control arm with ball joint. during the towing process the axle had snapped and the fender rolled a little bit. Replaced the axle.. I was begging the guy to take his time, bought him a pack of cigs, total of an hour and 15 minutes later we got it on the tow truck with less damage as possible. Anyways the car performs alot better now. and wrenching in todays little snow storm sucks ass, the things I do for DSM's. I hate em.

You've known about the tie rod for over a week, sounds like your fault over the DSMs.

Re: Ball joint, Tie rods, Ect...?!

ya you gotta keep an eye on all of the ball joints on 2g's I have had 2 lower ball joints seperate on me on 2 different cars, One of them went on the 35W/35E split (It was intense) wouldn't recommend it.
