If you've heard "alot of stuff" about them, you've probably heard they are nothing but junk, so why bother asking? Do you even have mods on your car yet?

Re: turbo manifold ?????

Pacesetter headers are junk. I know of one personally that has been rewelded countless times and it still falls apart.

Re: turbo manifold ?????

They are very thin mild steel. Definately not worth it. Just get some used stock stuff.

Re: turbo manifold ?????

Thanxs everyone for your coments. I will go with the stock manny after all. And yes I have some mods. I have my balance shaft removed, alu. flywheel, fornt mount iner., with 2.5 iner pipes, 3 inch exhaust, after market fuel rail barded lines, fuel reg. 680 injectors, 255 wlb pump, underdrive crank pulley, after market bov, safac 2, msd dis2, and just sock turbo and intake for right now. Thats why I'm asking about the sheetmetale intake and exhaust manny.if it would be a good idea or not. I just want to boost like 18psi no more.

yea, get an evo3 manifold, or maybe one of the custom cast ones. Slowboy offers a nice one for a decent price, and relibility should be excellent. I personally have a used ported evo3 mani, had no probs with that.

Do you have an upgraded turbo? when you have the manifold off, that's always a nice time to install a bigger one...

Re: turbo manifold ?????

Re: turbo manifold ?????

evo 3 would be a good one to go with, and a bigger turbo is to costly right now but in mine for later plans. I have the 1g talon.

Re: turbo manifold ?????

Don't bother with an EVO3 manifold, they just match up to a ported turbo better. The runners are not any bigger than the others. Just get a used 2g manifold if you can find one in decent shape. Get it ported and you will be better off than an Evo 3 and it will be cheaper.

Re: turbo manifold ?????

Depends. Jet will do it and QPR can do it. ghettostyle will sell you his 2g manifold for $75 plus shipping. We could have it ported before sending it if you wanted by either of the above people. QPR has ported numerous manifolds (2 for me). He does a great job. I have not had anything ported by Jet yet but I am sure he does a great job. Pm Jet or Raptor (QPR) and you can ask them what the going rates are. Pm me or ghettostyle if interested.
