Aaron, I hate that -10 braided stainless line you gave me too, now my pump cavitates on a hard corner if the tank is near empty!

Re: Big Brown's Automagic - The last episode in my DSM story.

Soooo..........

She is alive again, now with more FMIC, head studs, Trans cooler and 16G.
Need to adjust the tune and sort out some rattles.

Thanks to Munchgsx, blackawdtsi, and my friend Kris and of course MAP for some sweet parts and stocking everything we pulled a late night and had her up and running, I had a blast driving it today, esp in the last 5 mins since I did a boost leak test, I think this is the most sealed I've ever had a car.

Pics to come.

Really, you would have scrapped it? For a DD FWD is the way to go although it's an automatic. Seems like you got a reall good deal considering you could probably pick up a stock head for cheap or get one for free because it sounds like everyone likes to give you stuff. You going to have the at the mitsu-get-together?

Re: Big Brown's Automagic - The last episode in my DSM story.

So, yesterday after fixing boost leaks she would miss bad at about 5k-5500rpms, figured either plugs or MAF since I was at that 2400hz window but since i couldn't remember how old the plugs were or what was in there I went and got some BPR7's.

New plugs gapped to .028 cleaned her right up, pulls 27psi spike settles to 22psi by redline.

Nice story I've always loved 1G's and my first was a fwd Turbo and sometimes I still think about that car my first DSM. Thanks for keeping one of these truly unique cars alive!

^i was gonna post pics with your recognition slutface!

Kevin saved my car by giving me his o-ring from his bov on his car. That was the biggest boost leak on my car it wouldn't even hold 1-2 psi.

He also offered to touch my penis which made me smile.

Re: Big Brown's Automagic - The last episode in my DSM story.

Sorry guys, i was on my phone and you know me well enough to know how my brain works. Also i remembered you bman and mo, but i was driving and not stopped, this is the second time i've been online and you guys are always there for me.
I guess this is what happens when you try to thank everyone.

OK, made decent power car is totally fun.
I have to thank each and every one of the following people, if i forget i am very sorry please try not to get upset.
(No order, its hard for my brain to work)

Brandon/B-man/Halon - wrenching and for the freaking best free parts you could get, also to include some bomb ass smoothies.
Mo/Speedfreak - Life saving welding jobs much appreciated, i owe you.
Nick/Munchgsx - Parts/wrenching/making fun of me and laughing at me, oh and calling me a pussy a lot of times.
Jesse - friend of mine for coming over to help wrench whenever.

Noyes aka body work guy - For the tow/help/advice
Woo/Blackawdtsi - Driving/wrenching
Steve/goatblower
Mike/mike 55112
Kris D.
Kevin/Santa - His boost leak saving 0-ring, (I forgot to order a new one today)
Jrohner - Auto trans TCU work
Chim 55xxx
John L.
MAP
Bob s./Duder
Carltalon
TKR
And My wife who was laying here when I originally posted, saving me from shooting springs out of the valve body and pullin the trans apart and hundreds of other times I've had to have some help.
No matter what you did even if i forgot to mention you, i appreciate what you have done whether making fun of me, helping wrench, bouncing ideas off each other, offering advice or parts.

All of you, some I'm sure i have forgotten in this 10-15 mins of trying to think of everyone has helped me along the way in the last 10+yrs and now my 7th DSM, I honestly say thank you.

Nice! How does it launch or do you need a different TC and some TCU magic to launch the auto?
