Mark, btw... If you need boxes and packing for sending bombers, the wine packaging you noticed when you swung over is in fact available, we've got a bunch of it.

Is Surly Misanthrope a new one or something I've missed over the years?

Actually was looking a bit closer, the 2014 bottles have a upc bar on them, the 2013 don't... assuming the 2012 and such don't either but I don't have one of those. I'll label them going forward but at least I can tell which is which for now on the 3 bottles I have, I know which is 2014.

Re: Fancy Beer!
In a recent trip to Big Wood Brewery in White Bear Lake by my house, holy smokes, I've been sampling their stuff through a friend who will be working for them soon, but wow once I finally got a chance to try to in demand stuff such as their coffee stout called Morning Wood and the dry rye called Forest Fire, THAT was some good beer and I don't even like beer much beyond Whiskey and Brandy. Fair pricing too I feel.

Re: Fancy Beer!
they are like every other brewery in MN all beers are 5.00 they have good beers. got a lemon grass beer in a growler last time I was there a few weeks ago. you can get them in pint cans in the stores also.
you need to have beers that are barrel aged then if you like whiskey and brandy

Re: Fancy Beer!
You traded for Blakkr from AZ or sent a can to AZ? I've got a few cans of that and not sure if I care to drink them... maybe worth trading/selling?

Re: Fancy Beer!
just pour it out. they are very malty now. I traded for a can of it that was the real ale version in the 12oz can. I wanted to have all 3 versions for the shelf. I did drink it to night it was alot better than the 3 floyds bomber I had last month but then. real ale is still making it and canning and selling growlers of it. so it was pretty fresh. Just like any kind of beer that is a IPA style it needs to be fresh to be good.
