Harmonic balancer compatibility?

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know if the harmonic balancer pulley on the 2g (63 motor) and the one on the 1g 6 bolt are same? Can I use a 2g one on a 1g?

Thanks

Yes you can. Someone told me that when I was doing my 6Bolt swap and I used my 2G one and it fits perfectly.

Re: Harmonic balancer compatibility?

Thanks. It seemed like a no-brainer question to me (being they are all the same block) but what threw me for a loop is that Mistubishi used different part numbers for the 1g 6bolt, 1g 7bolt, and 2g. Anyway, thanks again.

Re: Harmonic balancer compatibility?

The 2G's used ribbed accessory belts and the 1Gs don't. Sorry.
