just looking around and was wondering a few things. from what i know the stock fp on a 1g is around 35-36 psi. and on a 2g it's 40-41. now alot of people opt to bump their 1g's fp with an afpr, but i was wondering if it is possible to swap a 2g on to a 1g. or i've also heard that the fpr off a 1990 colt 1.5l 200gt has a base rate of 44 psi and will bolt onto a 1g and is a rising rate. if anyone knows if this would work maybe they could chime in.

2G FPR won't bolt up to a 1G.

if your looking for a cheap non-holding solution to pump up your baseline fuel pressure and therefore destroy all posibilities of a good tune, go with a b&m, LoL.
Why the need for fuel pressure bump? are you overclocking your injectors? running out of fuel? i trust aeromotive products, when it comes to things like fuel delivery, skimping isn't always the best method..
just my $.02.
p.s. i've also heard the rumors about the colt regulator, and shane is right the 2g fpr and the 1g fpr aren't interchangeable.

YOu can use a 2G Fuel Rail with a 2G FPR though. personally just stay with the stock fuel rail and get a Aftermarket FPR.

if i had all the money i needed i wouldn't ask these questions. as far as what i thought being a dsmer also ment the ability to make and design systems that aren't the norm that everybody has or can buy. true there is a point when making a part just won't cut it, but i like knowing that i have the ability to try and learn. some people have the luxury of buying whatever they need, i live on my own, pay rent amongst plenty of other bills and own 2 other vehicles including one other project that all require time and money. sorry to vent, i'm just sick of everyone saying you are a cheap ass if you don't just buy the part.

You have to realize that most dsmer's are broke from having to fix their car all the time So we are all in the same boat together.
