Title Problems

So I bought a dsm shell awhile back, and didn't pick up the title at the time of purchase. Its been quite some time since then, but now the car is running and ready for the road.

I talked to the owner several times for the last 2 weeks, but he was always out of town working. Now i have been trying to get in touch with him the last few days and he hasn't answered his phone at all.

I don't remember his address and only have his cell phone number to reach him.

Any ideas on what I should do?

could be I suppose. I thought that CL ad you found was a recent one, but I just noticed the date.

He could've lost his phone too.

Re: Title Problems

K, so here's a quick update.

Goat Blower was awesome enough to send me the address that the car is registered under. Fortunately, it was not the tool that I bought the car from. I went to the address and knocked on the door, hoping that the guy still lived there. It turns that he did!!

It took him a couple of days to find the title, but when he did he had no problem signing it over to me.

Went straight to the DMV and BAM now its in my name.

So pretty much what I'm saying is thanks to Goat Blower for getting me the address.

We have good people on this board!
