16g Daily Driver Build

Bought another gsx and figure id start a build thread for this car also. Specs of the car right now :
-1997 gsx auto
Mods :
6 bolt swap
fmic
1G bov
Aeromotive afpr
272 hks cams
2g pistons
Intake
14b turbo
Walbro rewired 255
Ecmlink v3
Pte 1000cc injectors

Thats the list as the car sits my plan is to build a nice reliable daily sitting around 250 awhp.
So what i plan on adding/doing :
16g mhi turbo
New timing belt
New headgasket
Professional tune
Repaint engine bay
Powdercoat a ton of stuff
Undercoat whole car
All black interior

As of right now i am just going to drive the car through out the winter this year and collect all my parts with the spare money i dont spend on my other car. Then pull the motor this spring when it warms up again to do everything to it thats listed.

Wow that looks super clean. 16g and pump will get you to about 250 at DB.

Thanks mike. It is pretty damn clean for sure. Minimal rust just some surface on the bottom. Strut towers were redone completely. And rear wheels wells are still there.

is it me or do the headlights sit kinda funky? maybe it's the pic. It looks pretty much like my old one..

Thanks !! The headlight do sit kinda weird right now. I have some things to go over on the car still but got it cleaned up pretty nice for now

That was my setup two years ago before I threw my 2.4 back in and stepped up to a Green. I made 290 at DB on the 16G on pump gas, can't remember if that was the 2.0 or 2.4.

Update on the daily. Been driving it everyday with no problems besides it runs really rich all of a sudden one day.
Didnt get to timing belt or head gasket the snow came to quick and now the cold is kinda keeping me from doing anything to the car. Most likely going to just drive threw winter and then do alot of cleaning up and fixing when it warms up again.

It is pretty clean it has its imperfections. But its a daily.
Interior is tan and black. I would like to do all black interior in the future

Not a good day day today. Just in my neighborhood i slid right into a snowbank and took off half my bumper. Guess its time for some winter tires. Not these slics anymore

Update on the new summer dd build.
Engine wiring harness out with new one on its way. Both subframes being droped at the moment to be sand balsted and powder coated along with all other suspension parts. Block will be going to get machined soon to be assembled.
