Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

The parts are there for the one on our lot. Meaning it should go to body on Friday.

Otherwise there's Weggy's VIII or Tuna's RS

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

I know the one at white bear and I've been looking on evomn and evom. I'm just posting to see if anybody would offer.

And I still have the gsx but someone might be offering me like 12k for it, even tho I've put over 20k into it. if so I might do it and buy an evo but I don't know yet. That car means a lot to me.

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

you'll sell the gsx and then be upset once you buy a evo. only because you put so much time and money into it to make it fit you and your driving style. is this all over the whole e85 thing ?

take 20k open a small e85 station, keep gsx and buy evo with said profits then give me free e85 for the amazing idea

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

If anyone offered me $12k for any DSM I'd deliver the car that day.

I want to sell my car and get something that I love to drive everyday, like my BMW buy with 450/450 wheel minimum/capable.
I don't care to work on stuff all the time right now and a DSM isn't something that I like to drive everyday just at certain times.

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

20k to open a station? Did you mean 2 million? Even at 20k, you would never make any money with a few cent profit margin on gas.

The Evo is a much better car all around, unless you are just drag racing and then it doesn't matter and a 1G DSM would be the way to go.

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

I have put a lot of time and effort into the car and tons of money.. but it's getting to a point now where I'm getting tired of constantly putting money into a car that's over 15 years old and it's limited. Like shane said the evo is such a better platform all around. But who knows, I'm only considering it because of the offer that was giving to me. Anything over 10k for a dsm is huge, even if I have invested over 20k into the car.

Re: WTB: EVO 8 OR 9

Not sure if this is anything that would be up your alley, but I know a guy who's looking to sell his 2003 AS VIII, was really only a weekend cruiser, saw the road course at BIR once.

The car is 100% MINT, right around 6,500 miles. Was driven on a 20 mile loop a couple times a month over the summer, stored indoors every winter. It's seriously the cleanest Evo I've ever seen in my life.

Mods are Tein lowering springs (I don't remember which ones) and a Buschur Magnaflow exhaust.

Wants $21k. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you in contact with him.

12k for a dsm? I'd take that money and run! Who cares what you got into it. You won't be disappointed with an Evo
