i was wondering if anyone could tell me the differance between a 6 bolt and a seven bolt, and i was wondering if the tranys for each are interchangable

6 bolt is the 1g motor. 7 bolt is the 2g motor. Im sure it doesnt matter what tranny you use, swapping a 6 bolt into a 2g is very common. However it does affect when you buy a flywheel. 1g flywheel 6 bolts, 2g flywheel 7 bolts.

False. "6 bolts" are from approximately 89-92.5 and "7 bolts" are from 92.5 - 94 (1G) & 95-99 (2G) with all dates being build-date based.
