Clutch explosion

Soooo fun story.

I was JDA (Just driving along) and showing my friend what I thought was a potentially loose bolt in the front strut/trans area. We were cruising at about 25mph changing gears and decided to do a small pull, maybe 10-12psi in 3rd gear. I waited for my lag to go away and it pulled moderately and as I went to shift, BWAHHHHHP. No gears, no nothin. Engine revved freely and the clutch slave cylinder was moving properly and shift cables still attached. A small disk like button was sitting by the boot of the trans, telling me my clutch hub had apparently sheared into pieces separate from that of the pucks. It didn't make noise before, during, or after the process but it certainly seems like the only possibility at this point. I will admit to it being a poor quality 6 puck unsprung disk and a fairly heavy duty pressure plate, and aftermarket flywheel and OEM TOB but we'll see soon hopefully what the true damages are... Wish me luck and hope it's only a shitty disk that did me in.
