Gap the plugs down and stock evo8-9 ignition (or are we talking headstuds? that works too!) can handle some pretty big boost. Is it the best/safest setup? Probably not, but I've seen it done!
Not trying to call you guys on every detail, but evoX is not so amazingly different/better than the evo8/9 or 1G/2G DSMs as most evoX owners depict.
