Timing belt jobs run $200 from a shop and considerably less from friends who have done it. I really think you would be able to do it yourself as many times as you have seen it done. It isn't that difficult and is one of those things that you really should learn if you stay into these cars. Pay Ryan to teach you instead of doing it for you, it would be money well spent.
