To add yet another point, you'll have more problems with rusting with a caged/tube framed/tubed end car - reason being, the prep/paint/coatings for those things are rarely as good as a factory paint/prep job and most likely your tube components will start rusting very quickly, especially if they were rattle can painted.

most of the time isn't an issue because it is a garage kept racecar rarely driven in poor elements or winter. if you started doing that you would be constantly fighting rust.
