Update installed brand new bav sound stage 1 system in car.... didn't fix the issue so waiting for the correct amp to come up for sale.
Bmw and there I have to be different mentality put in programable amps that were used in like 5 different cars for the period of like 5yrs in each model so you would think it would be as simple as just finding one.
But no, the amp will work but you have to havr bmw re-code the amp to your specific sound system. Which costs an arm and a leg down here on top of the $1000 bmw wants for a new amp.

So the alternative is to find an amp that came out od the exact same make / model that has the same exact sound system as you have.
So if anyone knows of a 2001 x5 with the dsp sound package with out the navigation (that's key) including subwoofer please let me know. Pricing should be around $200-$250
