1997 Eclipse Spyder GSX shell

I'm going to work soon, but will add more info later and pictures.

Sorry Mods, will post up vin soon. I'm sure you know I own this vehicle. Give me till tomorrow when I come back from work.

Run down.

- 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder
- AWD conversion (fabbed and mounted by MAPerformance) with great shifting transmission, transfer case, rear end, etc. etc. etc.
- Has a spool, so acts like a true AWD system. Launches very hard.
- ACT 2900 clutch with heavy duty pressure plate
- Fresh synthetic fluids from swap
- Buddy Club lower springs. Rides nice. Not too soft, not too stiff.
- Comes with 3" downpipe to 3.5" exhaust to custom muffler 3.5" inlet, 4" out.
- No cat, etc.
- No power steering, No AC
- No rust, just a crack in paint so very little starting there.
- Maroon in color, tan interior.
- Have interior for rear, but was and currently gutted
- Has aftermarket black housing projector headlights and blue bulbs
- Clear bumper lights
- Comes with a nice OEM style carbon fiber hood with hood pins. No hood latch. You can install one if you like.
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump.
- Has black triple gauge pod.
- Has trim bezel for AFC
- Convertible top motors inoperative, have not check, didn't care
- It's a race/project car, so not perfect, but in good shape.
- Currently set up for a 6-bolt, will come with the harness that is currently in it.
- Brakes work perfect. Just a little rust on rotors from sitting all winter.

- NO SEATS!
- NO WHEELS, bring your own!

Optional equipment that can come with car for added price.

- Full 8 point Chromoly roll cage and base plates. Needs to be welded in, pre-bent. Was $600. $500/firm.
- Pair red Tenzo-R racing seats in good shape, with brackets and sliders for 2G DSM.
- AEM EMS with 3-bar MAP sensor, and AEM wide band.
- OEM RX7 16x8 rims and some Hoosier Drag Radials, needs spacers and longer studs for 2G, otherwise very little work for 1G. Rims and tires dismounted from each other. $500/firm. or sell rims seperately.

Asking $3000/firm for the shell, without the optional equipment listed above. Have lots of receipts to add over asking price for shell. AWD conversion was $2000 for all parts and labor. It was done nicely. Add the spool, clutch kit, etc. and it's quite expensive.

Or we can swap in a stock 6-bolt or 7-bolt with some goodies for $6000 more/less depending on what you want.
Prefer cash, but may consider partial trade for a clean 1GA shell.

For the right price. Can add a fully built 2.4L 4G64/63T dyno'd at 596 fwhp before FWD trans grenaded and 560AWHP with fuel limitation on E85. This set up is still in car and will start up, run, drive, etc. No wheels on car right now.

Just want to sell, because it's the wrong time for t his project now. We will keep the motor for future use possibly

Donor car. We did not re-use the coilovers. They are long gone.

Here is a vid of it years ago.
It's not the best vid, but you get the idea.

I'm sure some have seen this around.

Any questions, feel free to ask.
