Haha! I've done a bit of research and what I've found is that these seem to do better than the mitsu ones that fall apart all the time. There's a ton of people running these actually. So hopefully it does last longer than the shitty DSM ones. And really for a divided T4 manifold, it's either this, or you jump into the $900+ manifolds from companies like ETS, or double that for Full Race. No one makes a middle like decent $600 manifold that I can find like there are for Mitsu's, or else I would have been all over that.
But it's like you said, it's so damn cheap I can't pass it up. If I only get a year out of it, that's OK. The main thing to me is that the R&D is done as far as exact placement and angle of the turbo so that it fits right under the hood and in the engine bay. So if it does break, that's fine I will make a new one out of thicker material, but can basically just reverse engineer this one as it's already a common and known good turbo placement setup
Rather than me playing trial and error over and over making one from scratch, this one will be able to help me setup a jig to make a new one if it does break.
