This is my 5th Specialized that I have bought, which tells you what I think about the quality.

I actually have a Rockhopper as well. I think it's an '02, but I can't remember. That's a pretty nice bike too, I've never had any problems with it, just a few adjustments here and there.

As for the Roubaix, I plan on putting at least 3-4k miles on it before I turn it in. Which means I will have it for a while.

How much did I pay for it? Too much.

They were on sale for $1,900 at Erik's Bike Shop. That's why I plan on having it for a while.
