Ive never had a FMIC so I dont know from experience, but cant having that directly in front of your radiator cause problems with air getting past?

A very reputable machinist did the head. He's done a bunch of Mitsu heads before so the head being flat is the last thing I'd doubt.

As far as the FMIC being in the way... meh. It gets enough air through and my other FMIC was bigger than this baby one and never had problems.

Yes, I've changed the temp sender sensor out for a new one. The old one got all whacked out and would peg itself to HOT all the time.

I guess I'll put another fan on it and flush it. Then if that doesn't work, I'll bepulling the engine.
