NO THE BELTS shouldnt be rubbing on the timing belt cover... you need to figure out whats acausing that asap... before anything... If it lets go. It wont be pretty...

Yeah I still have my balance shafts in. Are they worth taking out? If so then I might as well spend the extra money to have it removed. Oh yeah....are any of the belts supposed to rub against the plastic timing belt cover? I think mine is...atleast it looks like it. Oh...and how about a valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets and that other little gasket for the thing on the left side of the valve cover.
