I loved the feeling in the FWD turbo with no PS. I could feel the road so much better. Sure its hard when barely moving... but oh well!
Just remember to re loop the power stearing lines back into the spot you removed a line. You dont want leaks and you dont wanna destroy your rack. Its easiest when the motor is out of the car.
