you said you need to get the data off..

get the hard drive hooked up to a desktop thru the adaptor

laptop hard drives are provided power thru the data cable... well the two wires on one side are power basicly..


get it all connected properly, boot up he computer let the BIOS detect the new hard drive and get into windows...

get the data off.. and also simply copy everything over.....

so if you mess up once you can try again..


i would offer to do it for you but you seam a bit lazy.. well make that two bit lazy...


give it a shot, you already beat on it so might as well end its life with dignity..
