How about you just try and drain the oil first. Maybe you spun a bearing. If so, there may be metal shavings in the oil. You could also have someone check it out with a boroscope instead of removing the pan. Ofcourse the oil would have to be gone first. It will save you an assload of time if Mike gets out of the hospital or you can find someone vs pulling the pan.
