You see that's the biggest problem when people talk about '80s music. Everybody wants to concentrate on hair and clothes. It was about the music you dumbasses. Those of you who think like that are the ones that fell for that corporate brainwashing. There were many great bands that were very successfull before and without MTV. Pink Floyd, Metallica (oh my God, they were an '80s band too), Journey, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden,
Rush, Triumph, Frank Zappa, Bad Company, Queensryche, Dokken, UFO, etc, etc, etc.
I don't worship Creed, but they were a good band. They are like the Spice Girls, nobody ever admits to liking them, but they somehow sold millions of cd's, go figure.
