MATCHBX is right on.Disconnecting power from any computer controlled device and various other electronic devices, while in their on state, is usually bad.The engine doesn't even need to be running, you can damage stuff pulling power anytime the ignition is on.More often than not, you won't damage anything, but it can/does happen, so its a bad idea
