Well checked it according to the steps on the link you gave me. Without grounding it was sitting at 5* BTDC. Grounding showed between TDC and 5*...more towards TDC. The cam angle sensor was all the way to the max rotated towards the rear of the engine bay.

I set it correctly and seems to pull without flutter all the way through to redline.

Now I need to look into the DSMLink for the car and start playing!
