You are correct that TV's can be thrown in the garbage, but that will cost you depending on size and the hauler you have. There is also a place down off of HWY 52, I believe it's on State St and Plato, that recycles electronics. Not sure of the fee there though. In a few years all electronic equipment will need to be recycled instead of thrown in the trash due to materials in the circuit boards.
