2.4's don't really do much of anything for HP. They spin the turbo up sooner and make the bigger turbo's more streetable. That is really about the only difference from what I have found. There is probably a small difference in HP, but not much. For the most part bore = HP, the bore on the 2.4 isn't much bigger than a 2.0 (which could be bored out equal to a 2.4).
