I work as a designer. I work mostly with plastic injection molding, but have worked on sheet metal stampings and some simpe electrical systems. I love what I do, and don't think I would change a thing. I think the best part about my job is being able to walk into a store, see a product I worked on, and say "hey, I designed that".
