Yes guys, it is a markup. It's called an "investment"... which is part of the reason I bought it. Chris, you apparently don't shop for Galants often. A car is worth as much as people are willing to pay, and that's about what a VR-4 in it's condition goes for. Just go check out
www.galantvr4.org. Some go for upwards of $7k on there, and don't have much more $ into them than mine.
In the end, if you don't like the price, don't buy it. But it is in excellent cosmetic shape inside and out--which is particularly hard to come across in the the northern Midwest.
If you haven't seen it in person, stfu. The only person who can make an accurate judgement so far is Mike. I love the car, and the only way I can justify selling it is if I get that much for it. Part of the reason I didn't post it on here is cuz I knew one of you tightwads would make a remark. But since it's been posted, I guess I'll add it to the classifieds.
