I hope you didn't lose too much, it's happened to me before. I got my money back after the dude ripped off way too many folks and had his last rip-off with a pre-law dsmer. Supposedly, he went to jail and was made to pay restitution to the state. I got a check from the state of Michigan. If yours was for a great amount, say over $200, you should probably file something, just in case there are other people out there that are in the same boat as you.
