i think he's saying each headphone (of which there are two) have multiple speakers inside
I know. But he also said it has front and rear speakers and you can hook it up to your home reciever. A pair of Sennheiser headphones would blow those out of the water anyway. [/b][/quote]
Very Very Doubtful. Ive lestened to Professional quality Sennheiser headphones and these blow them out of the water.

and the comment about how headphones cannot create Imaging is complete BS. come on matt i thought you played games before. Anyone who has ever used headphones to play a game knows that with a good set of headphones you can hear distinct areas where the sound is coming from. Why is it that pro gamers use headphones, because you can hear another player coming up before you see them. the sound card is part of the equation but if you are listening to the game on a set of earbuds your sound is going to be 2 dimensional.
The reason that these headphones are so great is that the sound is split up into 6 channels. so that in collaboration with my 6 channel soundcard equals knowing that theres a zombie behind me and that a box just fell to the front left of me.
Its true that the human ear must have both ears to create imaging but im not just listening with one ear. each headphone has 3 speakers inside it so the sound can remain in its original 6 channel form.
