Back to the topic, no a remote start cant void a cars warr.
If the remote start fails, or causes and issue with the car then they can say because of this piece here, it did this to this part, there for we wont cover it.
If its installed properly, by a certified tech you shouldnt have any issues.
Get a DEI product (Viper, Avital, Sidewinder, Clifford, etc) they have life time warrs. All of best buys work has a life time gaurentee on it also.
If its a newer car, expect to pay over 100$ additional plus maybe an extra key to have it installed.
My whole shop is MECP certified, and between the 4 of us full timers we have over 30 years experiance.
