hmmm. I called pontiac ( its a 40th aniversary grand prix gt) and they said that the wiring harness that comes stock with remote is diff then the ones without and installing them on the harness not meant for it causes problems... although i didnt talk to service techs.. no one is open for that saturday nights... it seems to be a well known fact.
