that's exactly what happened in the case of these 2 kids being sent to jail.
Here's another comment:
The judge said prior to starting the process - that the kids were to negotiate with the attorney General for a Plea Bargain.
the one kid took the plea bargain and pled guilty. - recieving 6 month in jail, 3years probation
The 2nd kid said I will never take the blame for this girls actions. Stating I'm not responsible for what she did that night. - he recieved 78months in prison.
So basically with the judge saying it's in your best interest to pleade guilty in this case I guess we are now "China" where you are guilty until proven innocent.
That same type of thing can be found when it comes to tickets... how do you defend yourself against BS tickets from Police officers? The way they bend the rules now adays it's rediculious but because they wear the badge of coarse they have to be right.
I mean come on you know that all this comes down to politics and Money. The attorney general only did it to get his name in the paper. Even the mothers of the 2 girls that died said it was wrong and they shouldn't have been punished.
