I could fit a wrench on mine even with my scattershield in the way. I did it from the top of the car. Air cannot be sucked back in unless somone takes their foot off the clutch while the vavle is still open. Try bleeding it from the top and use a hose on it. Then you can see if air bubbles are still coming out.
