Hence me saying i know i'm dumb for doing that, HOWEVER I got the parts for the quest to work 2 weeks after it was down. What the fuck was i supposed to do? Swap insurance right after it didn't work? Plus i have to have my DAD change it, as being 18 and having your own name on the policy is financial idiocy. What would you have done in this situation?

Oh, and thanks for the info Lightning.
Just think of the burden you could put on your friends and family if you were to get into a accident and hurt someone or get hurt yourself.

So the lack of a small hassle to your dad today could cause your dad some MAJOR financial and emotional strain if you were to get hurt tommrow.(it also shows that you are being responsible)

medical bills can pile up FAST. My friend was in for getting hit at a mere 25mph in a "daisy chain" accident. The one nights stay cost him 20 bones, cost his insurance 2500. And they only did a stupid scan and gave him some green cubed jello, shit didn't even have cool whip on it :-D

the people at progressive are great about insurance switching

they didn't even charge me when my svt was in the shop and I had to reinsure my dsm for 3 days.
the lady just said, call back before weeks end, and we probly won't even bill you for it.

now lets say someone hits me and they do not have insurance.

i'm going to put them into chapter 13 if I or anyone else is hurt. No second thoughts on my part.

but its good to know that you knew you were being illogical
