Try this, it has worked for me in the past when I made a similar dumb mistake. I called my insurance company, told them to put insurance on the car going back to a couple days before the incident. They were happy to have me pay for days in the past. :bounce: I then had the insurance fax me the document showing that my car was covered at the time of the incident, it was dropped.

DON'T DO THIS!!! We almost ALWAYS do an insurance check with ALL major and local companies after a stop like this. We do this search while we do paperwork later that night, and we document this search for court. If you get post dated insurance and take that to court, you're sure to fuck yourself.
If you got away with this in the past, More power to ya... If you think it's worth a try, go nuts. I wouldn't. Just my two cents worth.
