haha did you like tighten it so that the shifter was sittin way forward. That's the problem I had with my gvr4 tranny. You gotta adjust the shifter back straight up cuz its sits way forward and barely even goes into 1, 3, or 5th gear. Glad you got it fixed though man! Also don't have your pedal engagement point too high, or else you might run into problems where it doesn't fully engage.
